COVID has placed some limits on group activities and while we gradually increase our capacity, we are also open to meeting virtually. Check out our details below and e-mail outreach@buckscountyspca.org to get on our schedule.
Shelter Tours
Guided tours of our Quakertown animal care facility should be available later this summer. Lahaska tours will resume once the renovations in our animal housing area are completed. Check back here for updates.
Presentations in the Community
The Bucks County SPCA is happy to visit your classroom, school assembly, church, or community group meetings to introduce participants to our work. Our presentation will offer a glimpse into the life of animals at our shelters, from the moment they come to us through to adoption. It is a great way to introduce older kids and adults to the scope of our work on behalf of animals in our community and to learn how attendees can support our efforts.
Review the guidelines below and contact us at outreach@buckscountyspca.org to schedule a presentation.
- Please allow a few weeks’ advanced notice since our schedule fills up quickly.
- We are unable to bring animals along on our visits and instead include them through photos and stories.
- We feel our presentations for younger groups are most enjoyable and meaningful when participants are in 2nd grade or older and within a few years or grade levels of each other.
