How the Bucks County SPCA helps companion and farm animals county-wide

Our Humane Law Enforcement officers respond to all complaints of animal cruelty and neglect. They have the authority to enforce Pennsylvania’s animal cruelty laws, and in severe cases, they may seize animals and file animal cruelty charges.

How you can relieve animal suffering in Bucks County?

Animals rescued through our investigations take refuge at our two shelters which include a roomy barn and pastures. They are given intake exams and excellent care by our veterinary team. Many of these animals arrive in very poor condition and require prolonged treatment or surgery to restore their health. Some must be held for months until cases are resolved by the courts. Rescue and recovery of abused animals is costly. We remain committed to this difficult work that began with our founding in 1912. Please consider aiding their recovery with a donation to the Animal Relief Fund.
