Princess Leia is an accomplished lap cat and has been known to exert mind control on her caretakers here at the shelter, enticing them to linger longer with her on their lap or to bend low to give her better scritches rather than hurrying on with cleaning her chamber. A throne is not necessary for this royal Princess, but a cat tree is mandatory for frequent napping. To keep Leia happy and purring with contentment, she is on a prescription diet which she will need to continue in her new home.
