As a proud Purina Shelter Champions Partner, we are able to purchase Purina ONE food at a discount, but we still rely on the generous support of our community for food donations when our supply runs low. By feeding our animals a steady diet of one brand of food, we can minimize stomach upset while they are in our care.

- Very large pet beds
- Small animal housing
- Aquariums
- Used litterboxes
- Stuffed or heavy bedding: comforters, pillows, quilts, cushions
- Mattresses
- Stuffed animals, stuffed toys
- Used toys
- Pee pads
- Diapers or belly bands
- Collars
- Leashes
- Bowls
- Pet stairs
- Wheelchairs
- Newspaper or shredded paper
- Expired medications
- Needles or syringes w/ needles
- Small or broken crates
These are items we either do not use or cannot clean/store at the shelter. Some of these items we are able to donated to local pet food pantries and thrift stores supporting animals. Unusable items are disposed of at our expense. We’d rather use that money to help the animals. Please donate wisely, thank you.
Dropping Off Donations
Donated items are accepted in the lobby at both shelter locations during regular business hours. If you drop them off before opening (before noon) you can leave items by the front doors. Unsure if your items can be used? Please call either shelter or use our contact form to ask questions:
